Psychiatrist

## About the work

We are building a dataset of real retail trading behavior: complete brokerage trade histories, paired with the trader's own explanation of how they trade and why they made their biggest decisions. The data is used to study and model how individual traders make decisions.

This is a one-time task, paid a flat **$400** on completion.

## What you will do

1. **Upload your trade history.** Export your complete transaction history from your U.S. brokerage account using the broker's standard export, and upload it to our platform. It must cover at least 24 months and include every trade, with none removed. Remove your name, account numbers, address and other personal details before uploading.
2. **Describe your trading style.** Write a short summary (about 100 to 250 words) of your strategy, typical holding period, the instruments you trade and the platforms you use.
3. **Explain your 5 biggest trades.** Pick at least 5 of your most significant or influential trades, such as large gains, large losses or high-conviction calls, with stocks preferred. For each, explain your reasoning at entry or exit and what information drove the decision. Keep any reflection on how it turned out separate from your original reasoning. Each explanation must name a specific trade in your history, with the symbol, date, side and quantity matching that trade.

The writing takes up to about 1.5 hours.

## Pay

- **$400, paid once** you have uploaded your full history and fully annotated at least 5 trades.
- Partial submissions are not paid: the upload and all 5 annotations are required.

## Who we are looking for

- **Location:** United States only.
- **Trading experience:** at least 2 years of active trading on your own account, and at least 1,000 trades over that period (about 2 per trading day).
- **Instruments:** stocks; options count too.
- **Broker:** your account is with a U.S. retail broker, such as Robinhood, Schwab, Fidelity, E*TRADE, Webull or Interactive Brokers.
- **Background:** any. No minimum education and any field of study, from current college students to graduate-degree holders. Non-finance professionals, finance professionals and full-time traders all qualify. Current or former professional traders can take part using their own personal account only.
- **Age:** 18 or older.
- **Willing to** share your complete brokerage trade history, with no trades removed.

## Not a fit

- Fewer than 2 years of history, or fewer than 1,000 trades
- Trading only through an account you don't own, such as a managed, employer or prop-firm account
- Trading mostly crypto or futures

## Data license agreement

Taking part requires signing Mercor's Expert Content License Agreement, which covers how your trading history and annotations are licensed and used. You sign it as part of applying.

# **About the Role**

We're hiring Writers on a contract basis for Project Sisyphus, a PII anonymization program. You work through business documents and structured records (CRM exports, email, tickets, chat logs, accounting data), deciding what is and isn't personal information, catching anything that was missed, and grouping related entities so the same person or organization is handled consistently. Reviewers check your work before it ships.

**We are working to build a lasting team.** This is an internal project that will run long into the future, and we want writers we can build lasting teams and structures around. Strong writers are the pool we promote reviewers from.

# What You'll Do

- Confirm, reject, add and correctly type PII across tasks that contain dozens to hundreds of individual decisions

- Group related entities (people, organizations, contact details) into the right clusters

- Find personal information that automated detection missed, and avoid tagging things that aren't personal

- Apply guidelines that are updated several times a week, using the version in force on the day you work

- Act on reviewer feedback quickly, and apply it across your other tasks rather than fixing one instance

- Work asynchronously with a distributed team, and raise ambiguous cases in the project channel rather than guessing

# What We're Looking For

- Able to commit 30+ hours per week, with this as your main project

- Prior experience with AI data work (labelling, rating AI responses, or QA/review of AI outputs)

- A sharp eye for detail across long, repetitive material, and the patience to double-check your own work

- A track record in detail-heavy work such as operations, accounting, editing, design, compliance or account management

- Comfort with rules that change frequently, and a habit of checking the current guideline before relying on memory

- Takes feedback well and adjusts quickly

- Ability to work entirely without AI assistance on task data

- Excellent written English; reliable internet and a quiet, focused workspace (US-based preferred)

# Nice to Have

- Familiarity with PII, privacy or data-protection concepts (what counts as an identifier, direct versus indirect identification)

- Experience with medical record de-identification, copy-editing or paralegal work

- Experience reading structured business data such as CRM, ticketing, email or accounting exports

We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.

AI Assistant User – Weekly Feedback Study

**Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge research team to be at the core of the AI revolution, where your expertise fuels the development of the most advanced AI models.**

# 1\. Overview

Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge research team and help shape how its next generation of video models is judged. We're seeking film, theater and visual effects professionals who understand how a shot is built, from lighting and grade to framing, camera movement, continuity, texture and performance, to compare AI-generated video side by side and explain which result holds up to a professional eye. This work is ongoing, with new rounds as new models are released.

This is a W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC (or appropriate international entity), with the opportunity to be placed at a leading AI Lab as part of their extended workforce.

# 2\. Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate pairs of AI-generated videos made from the same prompt and choose the stronger result on specific craft axes: lighting and grade, framing and composition, camera and lens direction, texture and physical realism, shot continuity, and acting and dialogue delivery.
- Write short, precise reasons for each judgment that name what worked and what broke, in the language a supervisor would use in dailies.
- Check each video against its prompt, including whether the requested camera move, lens, framing or performance was actually delivered.
- Take part in calibration rounds with other raters so judgments stay consistent across the pool, and flag prompts or guidelines that are unclear.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in evaluation data.

# 3\. Core Qualifications

- Professional or graduate experience in at least one of the following: film or theater (including current graduate students), character animation focused on human performance, character technical direction, acting coaching or teaching, directing (especially crowd and background action), assistant directing, compositing, lighting, texture or surfacing, render wrangling, color or digital imaging (assistant colorist or DIT), camera department (1st AC or camera operator), editing, or display and AV quality assurance.
- Either training at a respected film, theater or animation program plus 2+ years of practical experience, or 4+ years of practical experience including at least two projects with a theatrical release.
- A trained eye for detail on screen and the ability to put it into clear, specific words.
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in a second dubbing language (French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean or Hindi) is a strong plus.
- Access to a good quality display and headphones for reviewing video and dialogue.
- Ability to engage reliably for at least 20 hours/week during weekdays.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain creative judgments clearly.

Film & Video Craft Expert (Camera, VFX, Editing & Performance)

**Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge GenAI team to be at the core of the AI revolution, where your expertise fuels the development of the most advanced AI models.**

# 1\. Overview

A leading AI lab is building a performance transfer model: one that takes an actor's original performance and carries it faithfully into a new output, keeping the timing, the emotion and the small physical choices that make it feel real. We're looking for senior character animators who have spent their careers bringing acting to life on feature films, VFX and games, to help define what a well transferred performance looks like and judge where the model gets it right or wrong.

This is a part-time W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC, with the opportunity to be placed at a leading AI Lab as part of their extended workforce.

# 2\. Key Responsibilities

- **Set the quality bar:** Define clear standards for when a performance has been carried over well, in body mechanics, facial nuance, timing and emotional intent, and point out where current evaluations fall short.

- **Critique model outputs:** Review generated performances shot by shot, the way you would in dailies, and write precise, actionable notes.

- **Build benchmarks:** Choose reference performances that range from easy to genuinely hard to capture, so the model is tested on what matters.

- **Shape the reviewer pool:** Help define the profile, rubric and calibration for the human reviewers who score outputs at scale.

- **Collaborate with other experts** to keep evaluations consistent and accurate.

# 3\. Core Qualifications

- 10+ years as a hands-on character animator focused on human and character acting, at Senior, Lead or Principal level.

- Animator credits on several feature films, VFX features or AAA game cinematics at recognized studios (e.g., Sony Pictures Imageworks, ILM, Animal Logic, Laika, Pixar, Disney, DreamWorks, Framestore, MPC, DNEG, Weta FX).

- A sharp eye for micro expressions, lip sync, weight and timing, and the small acting choices that make a performance feel authentic.

- Strongly preferred: facial animation experience, and recent work in real-time engines (Unreal or Unity), VR/XR, or performance capture pipelines.

- Hands-on use of generative image and video tools (e.g., Sora, Veo, Midjourney, Runway, Kling) to create your own samples for testing and comparison.

- Able to work on-site in Playa Vista (Los Angeles), CA or New York, NY for in-person working sessions once or twice a month.

- Strong written communication and the ability to turn visual detail into clear, precise language for evaluation templates.

Database Systems Evaluation Expert

**Help a leading AI lab ensure its models respond to people with care, balance and sound judgment.**

# 1\. Overview

A leading AI lab is seeking behavioral health experts to help evaluate and improve how its AI models handle sensitive, everyday conversations. People increasingly turn to AI for support with relationships, family dynamics, emotional wellbeing, personal beliefs and difficult life decisions. These conversations rarely involve crisis content, but they are exactly where a model's judgment matters most: whether it stays balanced, avoids taking sides, resists telling people what they want to hear, respects a person's beliefs without endorsing or dismissing them, and understands the limits of its role. You'll review these interactions, assess whether the model's responses are appropriate, neutral and safe, and help the lab's researchers define what good looks like. If you bring professional experience in mental health, counseling, social work or behavioral science, and you can articulate clearly why one response serves a person better than another, this role is for you. This is a part-time commitment of at least 20 hours per week, with the option to increase to up to 40 hours per week.

This is a W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC, with the opportunity to be placed at a leading AI lab as part of their extended workforce.

# 2\. Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate conversations between users and AI models across topics such as relationship and family advice, emotional wellbeing, spiritual and metaphysical questions, and unconventional or unfounded beliefs, and assess whether responses are neutral, appropriate and safe.

- Identify patterns of concern, including excessive agreement, taking sides, reinforcing distorted or unfounded beliefs, moralizing, or overstepping into clinical or directive advice, and document them with clear written rationale.

- Develop rubrics, guidelines and reference responses that define a balanced, supportive and appropriately bounded reply, grounded in established practice from counseling and behavioral health.

- Design test scenarios and conversations that probe how models handle sensitive but non crisis topics.

- Collaborate with the lab's researchers and fellow experts to keep evaluation standards consistent, calibrated and well documented.

# 3\. Core Qualifications

- A degree in psychology, counseling, social work, behavioral health, behavioral science, human services or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience in the mental health field.

- 3+ years of professional experience supporting people in a mental health, counseling or social services setting, for example as a therapist, counselor, clinical social worker, psychologist, psychiatric nurse, case manager, crisis counselor, peer support specialist or mental health advocate. Clinical licensure (for example LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LMHC, PsyD or PhD) is valued but not required.

- Demonstrated ability to remain neutral and nonjudgmental across diverse perspectives, relationships, belief systems and worldviews, and to explain the reasoning behind a professional judgment.

- Working familiarity with concepts such as sycophancy, cognitive distortions, healthy boundaries and client centered approaches such as motivational interviewing.

- Ability to engage reliably for at least 20 hours/week during weekdays.

- Strong written communication skills and the ability to deliver precise, well structured written feedback.

**Nice to have:** a background in AI safety, applied ethics, trust and safety or content policy; experience in couples, family or relationship counseling; familiarity with spiritual care, religious or alternative belief communities, or the psychology of misinformation and conspiracy belief; prior experience evaluating, annotating or red teaming AI systems. You don't need all of these to apply.

# 1\. Overview

A leading AI lab is looking for Lean engineers, formal mathematicians and proof engineers to help its AI models state and prove mathematics correctly. You'll write and review Lean 4 proofs, turn informal math into precise formal statements, and help the lab's researchers judge whether a model's proof is not just accepted by the checker but actually proves the right thing. If you enjoy writing Lean, know your way around mathlib, and can explain why a formalization is faithful or subtly wrong, this role is for you. This is a part-time commitment of at least 20 hours per week, with the option to increase to up to 40 hours per week.

This is a W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC (or appropriate international entity), with the opportunity to be placed at a leading AI lab as part of their extended workforce.

# 2\. Key Responsibilities

- Write correct, idiomatic Lean 4 statements and proofs that compile against current mathlib, across areas such as algebra, analysis, number theory, combinatorics and logic.

- Formalize natural-language mathematics, from competition problems and textbook results to research-level lemmas, paying close attention to whether the formal statement matches the original.

- Review AI-generated Lean statements and proofs, find where they fail or prove the wrong thing, and give clear, specific written feedback.

- Help define guidelines and rubrics for proof quality, statement fidelity and mathlib conventions.

- Collaborate with other Lean engineers and the lab's researchers to keep standards consistent and keep raising the quality bar.

# 3\. Core Qualifications

- Hands-on experience writing formal proofs in Lean 4, for example mathlib contributions, a formalization project, a Lean library or tool, or autoformalization work.

- Comfort with mathlib and Lean 4 tactics, and with finding and using the right lemmas.

- A strong background in proof-based mathematics, theoretical computer science or logic, through a degree or a research record.

- The ability to turn a written statement and proof into a correct formal statement and a proof that checks.

- Ability to engage reliably for at least 20 hours/week during weekdays.

- Clear written communication and the ability to explain proof strategy and formalization choices precisely.

**Nice to have:** experience with other proof assistants or dependently typed languages (Coq/Rocq, Isabelle, Agda, Haskell), Lean metaprogramming, or AI-for-math work such as LLM provers, Lean agent environments, or benchmarks like miniF2F, ProofNet or PutnamBench. You don't need all of these to apply.

Electrical & Hardware Engineering Experts

## About the work

**CritPt** is a public benchmark of research-level physics challenges, built to test whether frontier AI models can carry out genuine physics research reasoning rather than textbook problem solving. The benchmark paper is **[arXiv:2509.26574](https://arxiv.org/abs/2509.26574)** and we recommend reading it before applying. It will tell you quickly whether this work interests you.

We are engaging physicists to work on research-level physics problems in their own subfield. Depending on where your publication record fits, that can mean creating problems, solving them, reviewing completed work, or auditing it. We agree the specific assignment with you once you are matched to an area.

This is research-grade work rather than volume work. Whatever you produce has to be complete enough for another specialist in your subfield to follow and verify independently, so written reasoning is part of every assignment.

## Research areas in this panel

One area. We match narrowly: you need to have published on this specific phenomenon, not in biophysics broadly.

**1. Stochastic autocatalytic growth: chemical master equation, branching processes:** Autocatalytic reaction cycles, stochastic Hinshelwood cycle, chemical master equation processes, circulant matrix spectra, transient oscillations toward balanced exponential growth, moment hierarchies for reaction networks, generating-function methods.

If you also work on long-range dispersal, heavy-tailed jump processes or front propagation in range expansions, say so on the form. A closely related area sits in our statistical physics panel and draws on the same methods.

## Methods we expect to find in your own publications

You should be able to point to your own papers demonstrating **at least one** of the following families:

- Chemical master equation and the stochastic Hinshelwood cycle
- Multi-type branching processes and circulant matrix spectra
- Moment hierarchies for reaction networks
- Generating-function methods

## Who we are looking for

**A PhD in biophysics, statistical physics, applied mathematics or a closely related field.** This is a hard requirement. Postdoctoral researchers, research scientists and junior faculty are the strongest fit. Senior PhD students with a strong first-author record are welcome to apply.

**Published work on stochastic growth or reaction-network dynamics specifically.** This is the single most common reason we decline otherwise excellent researchers. Command of the methods is not enough if you have not published on the phenomenon itself.

**A verifiable publication record.** Three to five representative papers with arXiv IDs or DOIs, ideally from the last five years. First author strongly preferred. Every paper you list will be checked against the public record.

**Working proficiency with LaTeX, Python, SymPy and Jupyter.** Some familiarity with an agentic coding extension in VS Code is useful. Gaps there are acceptable if you declare them honestly.

**English at B2 or above**, including written reasoning. A large part of the value you add is how clearly you set out your argument.

## Application steps

1. **Apply and complete the attached form.** Basic information, education, research experience, your method self-attestation, and the area above if you are a fit. Give an arXiv ID or DOI of **your own paper** as proof, with your author position and the methods it demonstrates. A selection without proof is not scored.
2. **We verify your papers and authorship** against the public record.
3. **Then one of two things happens.** Either we onboard you directly, or we invite you to a short live alignment call to agree the area and the assignment with you.
4. A brief **30 to 45 minute assessment** may be added, but only where we need it. Most applicants will not see one.

## Commitment and rate

**10 hours per week**, sustained across an **8 to 10 week** window, starting immediately. Remote and asynchronous with no fixed hours.

**$80 to $110 per hour**, set by depth of subdomain match.

Two areas, both on the linear stability of buoyancy-driven convection. We match narrowly: you need to have published on convection stability specifically, not on fluid dynamics broadly. Each area lists the methods it requires.

**1. Rayleigh-Benard convection: linear stability with mixed boundary conditions:** Rayleigh-Benard convection, Boussinesq approximation, linear stability analysis, normal-mode perturbation expansion, mixed mechanical and thermal boundary conditions, fixed-flux thermal forcing, marginal stability analysis, spectral eigenvalue methods.

**2. Porous-medium (Rayleigh-Darcy) convection: linear stability:** Darcy's law for porous-medium flow, Rayleigh-Darcy convection, Boussinesq buoyancy approximation, linear stability analysis, constant-flux and open boundary conditions, normal-mode perturbation expansion, marginal stability analysis, buoyancy-driven transport in saturated porous layers.

## Methods we expect to find in your own publications

You should be able to point to your own papers demonstrating **at least one** of the following families:

- Boussinesq approximation and buoyancy-driven flow
- Linear stability analysis and normal-mode perturbation expansion
- Marginal stability analysis and critical Rayleigh number determination
- Spectral eigenvalue methods

## Research areas in this panel

Four areas. We match narrowly: you need to have published on one of these specific phenomena, not in mathematical physics broadly. Each area lists the methods it requires.

**1\. Special functions: hypergeometric identities and analytic continuation:** Gaussian hypergeometric functions, parameter differentiation of special functions, quadratic transformation identities for hypergeometric series, analytic continuation in a series index, digamma-function series, asymptotic and series expansions of special functions.

**2\. This is research-grade work rather than volume work. Whatever you produce has to be complete enough for another specialist in your subfield to follow and verify independently, so written reasoning is part of every assignment.

## Who we are looking for

**A PhD in condensed matter physics or a closely related field.** This is a hard requirement. Postdoctoral researchers, research scientists and junior faculty are the strongest fit. Senior PhD students with a strong first-author record are welcome to apply.

**Published work on the specific phenomenon above, not the adjacent one.** This is the single most common reason we decline otherwise excellent physicists. Publishing on topological order generally is not enough if your papers are not on the particular model in question.

Gaps here are acceptable if you declare them honestly.

**English at B2 or above**, including written reasoning. A large part of the value you add is how clearly you set out your argument.

## Application steps

1. **Apply and complete the attached form.** Basic information, education, research experience, your method self-attestation, and up to five of the areas above that you are the best fit for. For each area you select, give an arXiv ID or DOI of **your own paper** as proof, with your author position and the methods it demonstrates.

# **About the Role**

We're hiring Reviewers on a contract basis for Project Sisyphus, a PII anonymization program. Writers work through business documents and structured records (CRM exports, email, tickets, chat logs, accounting data) confirming what is and isn't personal information and grouping related entities. You review that work before it ships. The job is catching what the writer missed, and equally, not sending back work that was right.

**We are working to build a lasting team** - this project is an internal one, and so will be running long into the future. We want reviewers that we can build lasting teams and structures around

# What You'll Do

- Review completed tasks against the current guidelines and decide, for each, whether it is ready to approve or needs edits

- Catch missed PII, wrong classifications, and incorrect entity groupings across tasks with dozens to hundreds of individual decisions

- Send work back only for real defects, with feedback specific enough that the writer can fix it in one pass

- Keep up with guideline updates that land several times a week and apply the version in force on the day you review

- Work asynchronously with a distributed team, and raise ambiguous cases in the project channel rather than guessing

# What We're Looking For

- Prior experience in quality assurance, editorial review, compliance review, or another role where your judgment was the last check before delivery

- A sharp eye for detail across long, repetitive material, without drifting toward either rubber-stamping or over-flagging

- Clear, direct written feedback

- Comfort being measured: the review seat is held on accuracy, audited regularly, and can be lost and re-earned

- Comfort with rules that change frequently and a habit of checking the current guideline before relying on memory

- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, focused workspace

- Experience in post-reading jobs such as copy-editing, paralegals, or medical de-identifiers

    # Nice to Have

- Familiarity with PII, privacy, or data-protection concepts (what counts as an identifier, direct versus indirect identification)

- Experience with data annotation, labeling review, or evaluation workflows

- Experience reading structured business data such as CRM, ticketing, email, or accounting exports

- We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.
