Psychiatrist

## About the work

We are building a dataset of real retail trading behavior: complete brokerage trade histories, paired with the trader's own explanation of how they trade and why they made their biggest decisions. The data is used to study and model how individual traders make decisions.

This is a one-time task, paid a flat **$400** on completion.

## What you will do

1. **Upload your trade history.** Export your complete transaction history from your U.S. brokerage account using the broker's standard export, and upload it to our platform. It must cover at least 24 months and include every trade, with none removed. Remove your name, account numbers, address and other personal details before uploading.

2. **Describe your trading style.** Write a short summary (about 100 to 250 words) of your strategy, typical holding period, the instruments you trade and the platforms you use.

3. **Explain your 5 biggest trades.** Pick at least 5 of your most significant or influential trades, such as large gains, large losses or high-conviction calls, with stocks preferred. For each, explain your reasoning at entry or exit and what information drove the decision. Keep any reflection on how it turned out separate from your original reasoning. Each explanation must name a specific trade in your history, with the symbol, date, side and quantity matching that trade.

The writing takes up to about 1.5 hours.

## Pay

- **$400, paid once** you have uploaded your full history and fully annotated at least 5 trades.

- Partial submissions are not paid: the upload and all 5 annotations are required.

## Who we are looking for

- **Location:** United States only.

- **Trading experience:** at least 2 years of active trading on your own account, and at least 1,000 trades over that period (about 2 per trading day).

- **Instruments:** stocks; options count too.

- **Broker:** your account is with a U.S. retail broker, such as Robinhood, Schwab, Fidelity, E\*TRADE, Webull or Interactive Brokers.

- **Background:** any. No minimum education and any field of study, from current college students to graduate-degree holders. Non-finance professionals, finance professionals and full-time traders all qualify. Current or former professional traders can take part using their own personal account only.

- **Age:** 18 or older.

- **Willing to** share your complete brokerage trade history, with no trades removed.

## Not a fit

- Fewer than 2 years of history, or fewer than 1,000 trades

- Trading only through an account you don't own, such as a managed, employer or prop-firm account

- Trading mostly crypto or futures

## Data license agreement

Taking part requires signing Mercor's Expert Content License Agreement, which covers how your trading history and annotations are licensed and used. You sign it as part of applying.

US Contract Attorney — Federal Litigation

Mercor is seeking experienced **software engineers at companies that serve retail investors** for a short, paid expert interview on behalf of a leading AI company building financial intelligence products. In a single **45–60 minute conversation**, you will share how engineering teams like yours evaluate, choose, and integrate third-party APIs and AI vendors. This is a good fit for backend, integrations, or platform engineers (or hands-on tech leads and engineering managers) at online brokerages, investing apps, robo-advisors, neobanks with investing, wealth platforms, or brokerage infrastructure providers.

* * *

### What You'll Do

- Join one 45–60 minute remote interview at a time that works for you.

- Walk through how your team evaluated or shortlisted an outside API or AI vendor (e.g. market data, news/research, identity, or AI chat), and what drove the final decision.

- Share what made integrations go well or badly: documentation, reliability, pricing, security and compliance review, and support.

- Give candid feedback on what you would want from vendors serving retail-investing products.

Please share only your own experience and opinions. You will **not** be asked for confidential or proprietary information about your employer.

* * *

### Requirements

- Currently employed **in-house** (not freelancing or consulting) as a software engineer, backend or integrations engineer, platform engineer, tech lead, or engineering manager who is still hands-on.

- Work at a company that reaches **retail investors**, such as an online brokerage, investing app, robo-advisor, neobank with investing, wealth platform, or brokerage infrastructure provider.

# **About the Role**

We're hiring Writers on a contract basis for Project Sisyphus, a PII anonymization program. You work through business documents and structured records (CRM exports, email, tickets, chat logs, accounting data), deciding what is and isn't personal information, catching anything that was missed, and grouping related entities so the same person or organization is handled consistently. Reviewers check your work before it ships.

**We are working to build a lasting team.** This is an internal project that will run long into the future, and we want writers we can build lasting teams and structures around. Strong writers are the pool we promote reviewers from.

# What You'll Do

- Confirm, reject, add and correctly type PII across tasks that contain dozens to hundreds of individual decisions

- Group related entities (people, organizations, contact details) into the right clusters

- Find personal information that automated detection missed, and avoid tagging things that aren't personal

- Apply guidelines that are updated several times a week, using the version in force on the day you work

- Act on reviewer feedback quickly, and apply it across your other tasks rather than fixing one instance

- Work asynchronously with a distributed team, and raise ambiguous cases in the project channel rather than guessing

# What We're Looking For

- Able to commit 30+ hours per week, with this as your main project

- Prior experience with AI data work (labelling, rating AI responses, or QA/review of AI outputs)

- A sharp eye for detail across long, repetitive material, and the patience to double-check your own work

- A track record in detail-heavy work such as operations, accounting, editing, design, compliance or account management

- Comfort with rules that change frequently, and a habit of checking the current guideline before relying on memory

- Takes feedback well and adjusts quickly

- Ability to work entirely without AI assistance on task data

- Excellent written English; reliable internet and a quiet, focused workspace (US-based preferred)

# Nice to Have

- Familiarity with PII, privacy or data-protection concepts (what counts as an identifier, direct versus indirect identification)

- Experience with medical record de-identification, copy-editing or paralegal work

- Experience reading structured business data such as CRM, ticketing, email or accounting exports

We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.

**Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge research team to be at the core of the AI revolution, where your expertise fuels the development of the most advanced AI models.**

# 1\. Overview

Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge research team and help shape how its next generation of video models is judged. We're seeking film, theater and visual effects professionals who understand how a shot is built, from lighting and grade to framing, camera movement, continuity, texture and performance, to compare AI-generated video side by side and explain which result holds up to a professional eye. This work is ongoing, with new rounds as new models are released.

This is a W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC (or appropriate international entity), with the opportunity to be placed at a leading AI Lab as part of their extended workforce.

# 2\. Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate pairs of AI-generated videos made from the same prompt and choose the stronger result on specific craft axes: lighting and grade, framing and composition, camera and lens direction, texture and physical realism, shot continuity, and acting and dialogue delivery.
- Write short, precise reasons for each judgment that name what worked and what broke, in the language a supervisor would use in dailies.
- Check each video against its prompt, including whether the requested camera move, lens, framing or performance was actually delivered.
- Take part in calibration rounds with other raters so judgments stay consistent across the pool, and flag prompts or guidelines that are unclear.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in evaluation data.

# 3\. Core Qualifications

- Professional or graduate experience in at least one of the following: film or theater (including current graduate students), character animation focused on human performance, character technical direction, acting coaching or teaching, directing (especially crowd and background action), assistant directing, compositing, lighting, texture or surfacing, render wrangling, color or digital imaging (assistant colorist or DIT), camera department (1st AC or camera operator), editing, or display and AV quality assurance.
- Either training at a respected film, theater or animation program plus 2+ years of practical experience, or 4+ years of practical experience including at least two projects with a theatrical release.
- A trained eye for detail on screen and the ability to put it into clear, specific words.
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in a second dubbing language (French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean or Hindi) is a strong plus.
- Access to a good quality display and headphones for reviewing video and dialogue.
- Ability to engage reliably for at least 20 hours/week during weekdays.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain creative judgments clearly.

Film & Video Craft Expert (Camera, VFX, Editing & Performance)

**Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge GenAI team to be at the core of the AI revolution, where your expertise fuels the development of the most advanced AI models.**

# 1\. Overview

A leading AI lab is building a performance transfer model: one that takes an actor's original performance and carries it faithfully into a new output, keeping the timing, the emotion and the small physical choices that make it feel real. We're looking for senior character animators who have spent their careers bringing acting to life on feature films, VFX and games, to help define what a well transferred performance looks like and judge where the model gets it right or wrong.

This is a part-time W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC, with the opportunity to be placed at a leading AI Lab as part of their extended workforce.

# 2\. Key Responsibilities

- **Set the quality bar:** Define clear standards for when a performance has been carried over well, in body mechanics, facial nuance, timing and emotional intent, and point out where current evaluations fall short.

- **Critique model outputs:** Review generated performances shot by shot, the way you would in dailies, and write precise, actionable notes.

- **Build benchmarks:** Choose reference performances that range from easy to genuinely hard to capture, so the model is tested on what matters.

- **Shape the reviewer pool:** Help define the profile, rubric and calibration for the human reviewers who score outputs at scale.

- **Collaborate with other experts** to keep evaluations consistent and accurate.

# 3\. Core Qualifications

- 10+ years as a hands-on character animator focused on human and character acting, at Senior, Lead or Principal level.

- Animator credits on several feature films, VFX features or AAA game cinematics at recognized studios (e.g., Sony Pictures Imageworks, ILM, Animal Logic, Laika, Pixar, Disney, DreamWorks, Framestore, MPC, DNEG, Weta FX).

- A sharp eye for micro expressions, lip sync, weight and timing, and the small acting choices that make a performance feel authentic.

- Strongly preferred: facial animation experience, and recent work in real-time engines (Unreal or Unity), VR/XR, or performance capture pipelines.

- Hands-on use of generative image and video tools (e.g., Sora, Veo, Midjourney, Runway, Kling) to create your own samples for testing and comparison.

- Able to work on-site in Playa Vista (Los Angeles), CA or New York, NY for in-person working sessions once or twice a month.

- Strong written communication and the ability to turn visual detail into clear, precise language for evaluation templates.
