Robotics Expert

Mercor is looking for seasoned robotics domain experts to collaborate with leading AI labs and contribute to shaping the next generation of intelligent systems. You get an opportunity to apply your deep domain knowledge to influence cutting-edge AI models—helping them learn from, reason about, and interact with real-world robotics systems.

Why you are a good fit

You are a good fit if you -

• Have over 5 years of experience in the domain of robotics.

• Have a bachelor’s degree from a top US university.

• Have a strong background in one of the following -

  • Slam and robotics perception

  • Human robot interaction or collaborative robotics

  • Robotic manipulation and dexterity

  • Motion planning, control, and actuation

• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Have strong attention to details

Preferred Qualification

• PhDs from top US universities are highly preferred.

• Graduate from top robotics programs highly encouraged to apply.

Role Highlights

• Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
