Materials Engineering Expert

Mercor is looking for seasoned Materials Engineering professionals to collaborate with a top AI research lab and contribute to building the next generation of intelligent systems. You will apply your deep expertise in materials science to influence how cutting-edge AI models reason about, interact with, and learn from real-world scientific and industrial materials systems.

You are an ideal candidate, if you -

• Have 5+ years experience in materials science, materials engineering and related field

• Have a PhD in Materials Engineering or related field from top US university.

• Have proficiency in material testing methods, modeling software.

• Have strong verbal and written communication skills

Role Highlights

• Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.

• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
