Architectural Engineering Expert

Mercor is seeking experienced Architectural Engineers to collaborate with a world-class AI research lab in shaping the next generation of intelligent systems for the built environment. You will apply your knowledge of building systems, construction engineering, energy modeling, and structural integration to train advanced AI models—helping them reason like true experts in architecture-engineering collaboration. You’ll collaborate with AI teams to ensure models can evaluate, design, and coordinate real-world building systems, with accuracy and adherence to industry standards.

Why you are good fit

You are an ideal candidate, if you -

• Have 5

  + years of experience in design, construction, or building systems engineering

• Hold a degree in

  Architectural Engineering, Building Science, or related discipline

• Are proficient with tools such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit/BIM 360 etc

• Have strong verbal and written communication skills

• Have strong attention to detail

Role Highlights

• Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.

• Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
