CS and Machine Learning PhDs

Mercor is seeking a CS and Machine Learning PhDs for a premier project with one of the world's top AI labs. This role pays between $70-120/hour.

In this role, you will contribute your subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Specifically, you will help write and review PhD level questions that stump AI models.

You're a good fit if you:

• Have a PhD in with a focus on Machine Learning from a top university

• Have high attention to detail

• Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Here are more details about the role:

• You will interface directly with prominent AI researchers from the lab in a private Slack channel

• The project is 10-20 hours of work per week with potential to be extended to 40 hours per week

• This project is scoped to last a minimum of 1-2 months

Screening Process:

• You would need to complete a task that would roughly take 30- 60 mins and we will pay for 1 hr of your time if you pass this and are onboarded

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
