Mercor is hiring individuals with strong Olympiad backgrounds in Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or Linguistics to help improve the reasoning capabilities of a state-of-the-art AI model developed by a leading AI lab. Prerequisites

You should have:

• A strong Olympiad background in one of the following fields:

  • Mathematics: IMO, IMO TST, national olympiads, Putnam, or IMC

  • Computer Science: IOI, IOI TST, or top performance in competitive programming platforms (e.g., Codeforces)

  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Linguistics: Achievements in renowned international or national olympiads

• Excellent English skills, especially in reading and writing

• Good LaTeX proficiency, as many tasks involve reading or writing in LaTeX

Key Responsibilities

• Solve Olympiad and/or advanced problems to generate high-quality training data

• Review and evaluate solutions created by others

• Rank model outputs, identify flaws in reasoning, or select the best among multiple responses

• Document reasoning processes clearly and thoroughly to help build evaluation rubrics and improve future assessments

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
