Role Overview: Mercor is seeking experienced management consultants to collaborate with a leading AI research lab on a long-term project focused on benchmarking and improving the capabilities of cutting-edge AI models. The work involves designing high-quality management consulting prompts, answers, and evaluation sets to train and refine frontier large language models (LLMs).

Qualifications:

• 2+ year of prior experience at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or a similarly competitive consulting firm

• Strong online research and analytical skills

• Ability to synthesize insights from diverse sources and data sets

• Excellent written communication and attention to detail

Role Details:

• Flexible commitment of 20+ hours per week

• 4 weeks project - you can start immediately

Pay and Legal Status:

• The hourly rate for the role is competitive and based on experience ($90-110 USD/hr)

• Top performers on the project receive an outcome based weekly bonus incentive in the range of $20-$100/hr on top of their pay rate.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
