Finance & Banking Expert

Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI lab to work with experienced finance and banking professionals on a research-driven initiative. Contributors will apply deep domain knowledge to help evaluate and improve AI systems on complex financial reasoning tasks. This opportunity is well-suited for professionals with strong attention to detail and the ability to ramp up quickly in structured evaluation environments.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and validate finance- and banking-related content generated by AI systems

• Assess accuracy, logical consistency, and real-world applicability of financial outputs

• Identify errors, edge cases, and flawed assumptions in financial reasoning

• Provide clear, structured feedback aligned with project guidelines

3. Ideal Qualifications

• Background in finance, banking, investment management, accounting, or a related field

• Strong familiarity with financial statements, markets, and core banking concepts

• High attention to detail and precision

• Ability to quickly learn and apply new evaluation criteria

• Strong written communication skills

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
