Hiring  Manager

Role  Overview

Mercor is seeking a Hiring  Manager to steer an AI‑research engagement focused on replicating real‑world recruiting workflows. You will act as the domain “super‑expert” who defines sub‑domains, reviews specialised rubrics, and pressure‑tests agent decisions in scenarios such as requisition scoping, diversity‑sourcing strategy, and final offer calibration.

Key  Responsibilities

• Provide asynchronous feedback on model outputs and participate in bias‑stress tests.

• Map end‑to‑end hiring workflows (intake → sourcing → screen → close) and flag bias inflection points.

• Collaborate on the creation of ~25 simulated decision-making environments (e.g. prioritizing reqs, crafting outreach).

• Develop grading rubrics for evaluating decision quality at both micro (step-by-step) and macro (final recommendation) levels.

Ideal  Qualifications

• 5+ years leading Talent Acquisition, ideally with experience scaling teams at Series B–E startups or hyper-growth companies.

• Deep understanding of DE&I best practices, interview loop design, and recruiting enablement tooling.

• Experience managing recruiting strategy across technical and non-technical functions.

Project  Timeline

• Start Date: Immediate (July 15th)

• Duration: 4 weeks

• Commitment: Part-time, ~20 hours/week

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
