DevOps Support Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Support Engineer to write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI.

Your expertise in development infrastructure, system automation, and production-grade tooling will ensure each prompt and response reflects how real-world engineers deploy, monitor, and maintain backend systems. You’ll help shape how AI understands CI/CD pipelines, system integration, and cloud-native environments—ideally including experience with API-based service integration or orchestration tools such as Terraform, Helm, or AWS SDKs.

You are a good fit if you:

• Have over 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps engineer, SRE, platform engineer, or systems integration engineer

• Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

• Are currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia

• Have worked with CI/CD tools, infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Are experienced in supporting production environments, managing deployment pipelines, configuring monitoring/logging, or resolving infrastructure issues

• Write clearly and precisely when documenting technical processes or troubleshooting procedures

Role Highlights

• Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.

Role Start Date

• This role will begin in mid to late-August with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Interview Process

• You will take an AI interview where you will be asked questions about your background in DevOps operations, deployment automation, and documentation of infrastructure support.

• You will share your screen and write a detailed prompt to generate an AI response about a DevOps scenario.

• You will evaluate and compare LLM outputs to determine which response is more effective and accurate.

• Applicants will be selected based on their performance in the AI interview and on the accuracy and quality of their evaluations.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
