Role Overview: Mercor is seeking experienced Medical Practitioners (MDs and DOs) to collaborate with a leading AI lab on a new project. The focus is on developing and evaluating advanced AI systems for medicine-specific research tasks and simulating real-world medical workflows.

Qualifications:

• Have 1+ years of clinical practice work experience in the US, UK, AUS, CA, NZ, EUR

• Have experience in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Public Health, Hospital-Based and Mental Health Specialists (i.e., Family Medicine Physician, general Internists, Pediatricians, Cardiologists, Nephrologists, Occupational Physicians, Anesthesiologists, Critical Care Physicians, and Psychiatrists)

• MD or DO from a reputable medical school

• Excellent attention to detail and written communication

Role Details:

• You can work part-time (20+ hours per week)

• 5-week Project - You can start immediately

• Model‑training interview – 25 minutes conversational session designed to get to know your professional background, experience, and motivations.

Pay and Legal Status:

• The hourly rate for the role is 135-160 USD/hr, depending on experience

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
