Education and Training Expert

Mercor is hiring Education experts to support high-impact projects with leading AI labs and research organizations. We welcome professionals across teaching, learning, counseling, educational administration, and instructional coordination. Students are also welcome to apply. Freelancers will apply their expertise to evaluate, refine, and verify AI outputs tied to education, student support, curriculum design, and school operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine AI-generated lesson plans, curricula, and instructional materials

• Evaluate student guidance or counseling outputs for appropriateness, accuracy, and empathy

• Provide structured feedback on clarity, pedagogy, and educational best practices

• Review AI-generated administrative recommendations for compliance and practical feasibility

• Tag and organize content by grade level, subject area, or educational setting

• Support benchmarking to assess AI model capabilities in teaching, counseling, and administration contexts

Ideal Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a teacher, counselor, instructional coordinator, or education administrator

• Degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred)

• Recent or current college students with STEM or Humanities experience

• Knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum design, and student learning strategies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to give clear feedback

• Familiarity with school operations, student guidance frameworks, and policy compliance

• Empathy and sensitivity when reviewing guidance- or counseling-related content

Project Timeline

• Start Date: Immediate

• Duration: 1–2 months

• Commitment: Part-time (15–25 hours/week, with flexibility up to 40 hours/week)

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
