Language Experts - PhDs

We are seeking language experts to work on a project with a leading AI lab. This role will involve creating and completing tasks that require fluency, attention to grammar, and cultural sensitivity for your given language. Responsibilities include drafting tasks, providing answer keys/rationales, and ensuring cultural and contextual accuracy.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong command of the target language and cultural norms - being a native speaker is required

• Ability to distinguish subtle differences in tone, register, and appropriateness

• Experience in language teaching, assessment, or exam design preferred

• Doctorate degree strongly preferred

More details about the role:

• 15 - 40 hours/ week of availability is preferred

• The project is short-term and will likely last 3-4 weeks

• Hourly rate is determined by experience and location

This project is slated to begin on August 25th, 2025 and preference will be given to earlier applicants.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.

• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
