Sales & Marketing Expert

Role Overview

Mercor is hiring seasoned Sales & Marketing professionals to join an exciting collaboration with a top AI research lab. The role involves contributing to the development and evaluation of advanced AI systems built to mimic real-world Sales & Marketing workflows. You'll help train, test, and calibrate AI agents on complex tasks, such as setting sales strategy or lead prospecting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate sales & marketing outputs produced by AI systems for quality and accuracy

• Calibrate AI decision-making processes in tasks such as campaign generation and performance analysis

• Create sales & marketing assets such as onboarding playbooks, interview guides, and campaign ideas

• Collaborate asynchronously with product and AI teams to improve systems

Ideal Qualifications

• [REQUIRED] 3+ years of experience in a Sales, Marketing, or Advertising related role, OR a Graduate education

• [PREFERRED] Experience at an elite consulting firm or technology company, education from a top school, or a senior role in Sales, Marketing, or Advertising

• Experience building sales or marketing strategies, and running campaigns

• Experience creating sales and marketing assets such as campaigns, customer journeys, and playbooks

• Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills

Project Timeline

• Start Date: July 26th

• Duration: 6 weeks

• Commitment: Part-time, ~20 hours/week

2. Model Training AI Interview A 30-minute conversational session designed to assess your ability to train a model in your area of expertise.

3. A Paid Work Trial

   You will be paid to complete a paid assessment which will take a few hours.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
