Mercor is seeking experienced lawyers to support a leading AI lab in advancing research and infrastructure for next-generation machine learning systems. This engagement focuses on diagnosing and solving real issues in legal practice through hands-on scenario creation and validation. It's an opportunity to contribute your expertise to cutting-edge AI research while working independently and remotely on your own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Write tasks and scenarios that reflect real-world legal work based on your professional experience

• Create realistic situations involving legal research, case analysis, contract review, and client consultation

• Develop scenarios for drafting legal documents, advising clients, negotiating agreements, and resolving disputes

• Review and evaluate AI responses to legal queries for accuracy and adherence to professional standards

• Provide detailed feedback on legal practice scenarios to improve AI training

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years professional experience as a lawyer in professional, scientific, and technical services

• Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities

• Proficient with using computers and navigating various software systems

• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills

• Pass video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz

• Average 14 years experience preferred

More About the Opportunity

• Expected workload: 20+ hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours

• Project start date: immediately, lasting for around 6 weeks

• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
