Recruiter (Contractor - East Asia)

Location: Remote (Taiwan or Hong Kong)

Compensation: $25/hour

Language Requirement: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and proficient in English

The Role

We’re hiring Recruiters (Contractors) to help build Mercor’s expert network across East Asia. You’ll source and engage contractors for AI and data projects with leading U.S. clients.

While we prefer candidates based in Taiwan or Hong Kong, we also welcome applicants from other locations who have strong familiarity with these markets and are ready to recruit there effectively.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen qualified contractors using regional channels (e.g., LinkedIn, BOSS直聘, 104 Job Bank, WeChat, alumni groups).

• Communicate with candidates in Mandarin and English to answer questions and guide them through the process.

• Manage pipelines efficiently and deliver qualified talent quickly.

Requirements

• 2+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience.

• Fluent Mandarin and strong English skills.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with AI recruiting tools.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
