1. Role Overview Mercor is sourcing talented students in India to support a leading AI lab’s evaluation and research workflows. Freelancers will assess outputs from large language models (LLMs) and contribute to improving system quality. This is an ideal opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience with AI tools in a flexible, part-time capacity.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, clarity, and relevance

• Use prompts and feedback loops to assess model behavior

• Complete structured review tasks and provide quality assessments

• Follow detailed guidelines and collaborate asynchronously with project leads

3. Ideal Qualifications

• Current student (undergraduate or Master’s) at an accredited Indian university

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Demonstrated experience using AI tools or large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)

• Comfort working independently and managing flexible tasks with minimal supervision

• Estimated 5–10 hours of work per week

Contract and Payment Terms

• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
