Role Overview

Mercor is looking for detail-oriented generalists with strong research and analytical skills to support data quality control and annotation projects with leading AI labs. You will review, evaluate, and label data outputs to help benchmark and improve cutting-edge AI models across a variety of domains.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in law or legal practice

• A JD, LLB, or LLM law degree; active bar admission or licensed-attorney status preferred

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply consistent judgment across large volumes of tasks

• Excellent written communication and research skills

• Ability to understand and follow detailed rubrics and evaluation guidelines

Job Details

• Part-time commitment of approximately 20 - 30 hours per week

• Structured, well-defined tasks with clear guidelines, in a low-pressure environment

• Immediate start preferred

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
