Junior Investment Analyst (Buy-Side)

We are hiring a Junior Investment Analyst to support an AI Lab building next-generation financial intelligence systems. In this role, you will contribute to training and evaluating AI models by applying fundamental investment thinking, financial analysis, and market reasoning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct equity and macroeconomic research across sectors

• Build and interpret financial models (DCF, comps, scenario analysis)

• Analyze earnings reports, filings, and market data

• Assist in generating investment theses and risk assessments

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for financial accuracy and reasoning quality

• Collaborate with senior experts to refine model outputs and datasets

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, or buy-side roles

• Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques

• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial modeling

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail and analytical rigor

Nice to Have

• CFA Level I/II candidate

• Exposure to public equities or asset management

• Experience with data analysis tools (Python, SQL)

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.

• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
