Bilingual SWE ( Chinese, Japanese, Ukrainian)

Overview

We are hiring Software Engineers with experience in building and maintaining software systems. In this role, you will review, assess, and provide structured feedback on technical and engineering-related documents, ensuring quality, accuracy, and relevance. This is a great opportunity for engineers with strong analytical skills and technical expertise to contribute to high-impact evaluation projects.

Note: Candidates must have native or near-native proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Chinese, Japanese, or Ukrainian, along with strong English comprehension.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• At least 2+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong analytical and written communication skills

Required Skills

• Experience with technical documentation (e.g., API docs, system design docs, developer guides)

• Strong understanding of software development concepts (e.g., system design, APIs, data structures, algorithms)

• Strong document analysis and review skills

• High attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines

• Based in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, or Canada

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
