Operations Associate (File Monitoring & Processing)

Mercor is recruiting on behalf of a leading AI research organisation seeking a highly reliable Operations Associate to support a high-volume document processing workflow. The role involves continuously monitoring an internal platform for newly uploaded files, downloading attachments, and organizing them within a shared cloud storage environment. This is a process-driven role requiring strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor a designated internal system for newly uploaded attachments throughout the day.

• Download and organise files into the appropriate folders within a shared Dropbox environment.

• Verify that files have been transferred correctly and are accessible to relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate file organisation and naming conventions.

• Escalate missing files, upload issues, or process exceptions when necessary.

• Follow documented workflows and operational procedures with high accuracy.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Comfortable working with cloud storage platforms such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive.

• Ability to perform repetitive operational tasks accurately and consistently.

• Reliable internet connection and availability for extended daily coverage.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Prior operations, administrative, data processing, or back-office experience is preferred.

Engagement Details

• Remote

• 8–10 hours per day

• Preferred availability: 7 days per week

• Immediate start

• Long-term staffing engagement preferred

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
