B2B Sales Expert (3+ YOE, US Only)

We’re hiring an Enterprise Account Executive and B2B Sales Leader to create real business value for Mercor. This is a quota-carrying IC role owning the full sales cycle — prospecting, executive engagement, technical scoping, negotiation, and close.

Note — this opportunity requires an estimated 40 hours of work every week.

What You’ll Do

• Generate and qualify pipeline through outbound, executive relationships, events, and partnerships.

• Run consultative cycles with senior operators and technical leaders; build the business case that gets budget approved.

• Partner with Engineers to scope deployments, run POCs with clear success metrics, and negotiate multi-year agreements to signature.

• Expand accounts beyond the first deal, keep clean CRM hygiene, and forecast accurately.

• Feed market signal back to product and GTM leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally selling technical or platform products to the Fortune 500.

• Track record of consistently hitting quota and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals ($500K+ ACV).

• Comfort selling to both C-suite and technical buyers; able to translate ambiguous business problems into a concrete value thesis.

• Strong discovery, commercial negotiation, and pipeline-generation skills.

• Thrives in a fast-moving, high-autonomy startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience selling AI/ML, data, or professional-services solutions.

• History as an early or founding AE building a territory from scratch.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
