RN Annotators

We're hiring inpatient Registered Nurses (RNs) to support clinical AI product work — helping us develop and evaluate new products on an ongoing basis, which is why continuity and a reliable weekly commitment matter.

What you'll do

• Support annotation, clinical review, model evaluation, and user-feedback investigation

• Contribute to taxonomy/guideline development and other clinical product work as needs evolve

• Work directly with engineers, PMs, clinical scientists, and other clinicians

What we're looking for

• US based / able to practice in the US

• Recent inpatient bedside RN experience

• Broad clinical exposure: comfortable reviewing documentation across different inpatient populations, not overly specialized

• Self-starter / high ownership: can take an ambiguous clinical question, investigate it, and come back with a thoughtful recommendation

• Proactive and engaged: actively surfaces issues, patterns, and opportunities for improvement; comfortable speaking up when something doesn't seem right

• Rigorous and detail-oriented: able to consistently apply clinical logic and explain the rationale behind decisions

• Curious and adaptable: interested in learning how the product/model works and comfortable with processes that change quickly

• Strong communication and collaboration

• Able to reliably and consistently dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week

Preferred

• Previous annotation experience with positive performance reviews

• Academic / large health system experience (e.g., a large teaching hospital, which exposes nurses to more complex patients, workflows, and documentation practices)

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
