Travel & Hospitality Annotation Expert

About the role

We're looking for detail-oriented annotators with a love of travel, dining and hospitality to help shape the next generation of travel and hospitality recommendations. You'll apply clear guidelines and careful research to evaluate content about places people visit.

What you'll do

• Apply written guidelines consistently and carefully
• Research and verify information about restaurants, hotels and experiences
• Bring your own knowledge of travel and hospitality to every judgment

Who we're looking for

• 6+ months of experience in rules-based annotation, rating, QA or fact-checking
• A background or strong interest in travel, hospitality or dining
• Based in the US

Details

• Remote, flexible hours, paid hourly
• Short, well-defined tasks with clear guidelines

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
